If you don't show up and keep appointments for yourself, make an appointment with someone else. Say, “Hey, I'm gonna message you on Monday at five before I go live.”
Whatever you need to put into place to safeguard those committed so that you can be consistent and do the work that you need to do. You need to put it on the calendar so that you can block off that time. Block that time off so that you can get done the things that you know you need to get done consistently.
