Marketing in 2021
I had the pleasure of sitting down with a very special guest, Michelle Pippin of tribeofdrivenwomen.com and host of the Daily Hustle podcast. We talked about how marketing is changing in the 21st century and the marketing trend that is having big impact. There is so much you could be doing, or feel you should be doing. But, it was great to hear what is working and how it can work for you.
So, let's hear from Michelle Pippen.
How do I Advertise My High Ticket Products? Secret Marketing Trend
When you're selling high ticket, you know, anything over two to $3,000, best way to sell it is not paying for ads, or creating funnels and all of that stuff.
It is definitely a personal invite. A lot of times we try to avoid that for some reason, it is what fills events. It puts butts in seats, it fills the programs. So for any launch, high ticket or low ticket, but particularly high ticket, I recommend that you start with what I call a list of 50.
Think of 50 names, not a demographic. Demographics don't buy, people buy! So think of 50 names of people who really should say yes to your offer at any price and create the offer for them. Then personally invite them.
All of the launch information out there is about building a list with free offers and a $7 offer. It's all these steps between you and the person you want to serve with a high ticket product. So instead, let ideal client know you're thinking of them, and why you want them to say yes. Go directly to the sale. It's the fastest, best way to launch a high ticket. It's the marketing trend no one is talking about.
How You Can Make More Money with High Ticket Products?
When I first began coaching, I was one of the highest paid coaches on the east coast, largely because I designed my business around my life. I had three children andwas homeschooling. So, I couldn't afford, time-wise, to have a many clients paying me a little bits of money. So, I had to have a little bit of clients pay me a lot of money.
I've launched high ticket events and cheap ones. I can tell you that it doesn't take any more effort to get people to pay a higher fee than it does a lower fee. So, if the event is $3,000-$5000 per ticket, or just $47 you are working just as hard, but making less money.
How Do High Ticket Closers Get Clients?
In the early years, it never occurred to me to even consider whether or not I was comfortable selling. I was uncomfortable having the power cut off. So, I got comfortable with inviting people to buy from me.
I remember my second daughter, which was four, we put on a roller coaster and she cried the entire time, but she did it. And afterwards I said to her, “Baby, I'm so proud of you. Weren't you scared?”
Then she looked at me like, I'd grown two heads. Like she was saying, “Of course I was scared and I did it anyway.”
As women entrepreneurs, I don't care if you're uncomfortable, as long as you're willing to do it anyway. That is how you close sales.
Do it uncomfortable. It's like that quote that says everything you've ever wanted is on the other side of fear. Right. A lot of us put too much stock into the fear of man and judgments of people who aren't our right fit people anyway. You have a gift that can change people's lives, go out and tell them about it.
