When looking at how to evaluate your business at year's end, here is a list of things to get you started:

Finances:

  • Total Gross Income
  • Total Expenses
  • Total Net Income
  • How much did my gross and net profits increase over last year?
  • Which activities brought in the most income this year?
  • Is there anything I need to drop in order to focus more on the high earning activities in the coming year?
  • How are we “Giving Back” as a company?

Social Media Growth:

  • Facebook
  • Facebook Group
  • Instagram
  • Pinterest
  • Twitter
  • Other

Which social media currently drives the most traffic?

Which social media currently drives the most sales?

How to EVALUATE your business at year's end: A step by step guide, by handprintlegacy.com

Business Activities and Accomplishments:

  • Make a Record Accomplishments from the year.
  • What went well?
  • What didn't go well?
  • What do I want to do again, better?
  • What do I not ever want to do again?
  • Is there anything I am doing that would be better done by someone else?
  • Is there anything I am doing that distracts me from or keeps me from focusing on my most important activities?
  • What are our customers/clients saying about us/our service?
  • What do our customers want us to change/do differently?
  • Did the business help me grow as a person/leader this year? If so, how? If not, why not?
  • Did the business improve or diminish my key relationships this year? (family members, team members, share holders, promotion partners, customers, clients)
  • Have we done all we could for our charitable partner this year?
  • What mark are we making on the world? What is the thing we will be remembered for in 1000 years?
