How can I sell more courses? How do you fix a course that's not selling? You've got your course up online and you've been marketing it as best as you can, and it's still not selling.
Where do we look first? Where do we go to do that? And I don't know if you know anything about the enneagram, but I'm one of those kinds of people who tend to be able to see things and look immediately at what needs to be fixed right.
Who Buys Online Courses
Look at your course, look at the content, The lessons are not as important as the transformation. If you could make a simple path to the transformation, that's really what your people want. People buy courses because they need a transformation. Make sure you are giving them one!
That will make them more interested in purchasing your course. You'll sell more of them when you can explain the transformation clearly and simply so that they can see that this is not going to overwhelm me.
Marketing Strategy for Selling Online Courses
You need to inspire prospective students through your sales copy. Show visitors that this is how other people's lives have been different because of this program. Demonstrate how this is what's happened when other people have put this same material into practice. Share in your copy how their lives, their businesses, their families, their mental state have changed.
So, focus on the curriculum first and second focus on the copy. To fix a program that isn't selling, change the copy so you inspire prospective students. It needs to give them hope. It needs to let them see that this is possible for other people. You need to show them that you are the one who can lead them through to that transformation.
How to Attract Students for Online Classes
What do past students have to say about your course? How can they, bear testimony or bear witness to what you've been able to do either in your own life or with other people? Those things can be pulled in as testimonials as well.
You want to be sure that you're using testimonials in your copy, even if it's one or two. Three is like the ideal number to include. But, if all you've got is one or two, then use those one or two.
It's easy to say you can do something. However, people connect more with others' testimony to the transformation they achieved. Now, they can see it and see themselves getting that result. So that's super, super important.
How Can I Sell More Courses?
People want to be seen and they want to be heard. They want to be appreciated, not knocked down when they already know they have a problem. That's why they're looking for a course, they know they have a problem. Your course is the answer, let's present that course in a positive light and make them feel welcome. Make them feel appreciated, make them feel safe, even.
There are people on the other end of every one of these transactions. Those people need to know that they're important, that they're loved, and that they're cared for. If you can express that in your copy, your curriculum, and the experience (both the marketing experience and the course experience) I guarantee you, you will sell more courses.
